I have been tested positive as an adult with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), and other test proved positive as a child I was ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder).
I checked into it many years ago when my twin boys were diagnosed as ADD.
As a child I do not recall not being able to concentrate or complete any thing I started, but now I definately do have a problem staying focused , and completeing anything I start, also in order to grasp something new, ( Example: A job, or a school lesson ), I can't grasp it by just reading about it, I have to manually do whatever it is physically myself or at least watch it being done. Once I had to read my 1st chapter in an accounting course 5 times, before I could grasp any of it...
Even though I know basics of bookkeeping, etc.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to work with this disorder, so I can get back into college with out fearing it, and feeling stupid???
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thank You...
