One of the worst parts about Depression is the sense of hopelessness it gives you, that no matter what you do or how hard you try , it just wont make a difference. If you are Clinically Depressed you need to be treated by a professional and get involved with a support group to help bolster your weakened resolve to improve your life. One of the best things I can tell you is to give yourself to Jesus, pray for strength to abolish this sense of Despair and DON'T EVER GIVE UP! EVER!

It might be worth trying. No doubt some drugs do help but exercise, meditation, yoga, even something like jogging, or a hobby that really interests someone could accomplish the same good without drugs.

It really depends upon the severity of the depression. Some studies have shown that getting enough exercise every day, like going for a daily walk, can reduce depression symptoms.
