Will taking diuretics affect Lithium being taken for bipolar disorder?

Pitting edema of undetermined cause in both lower legs and feet. Natural solution would be diuretics. However, on Lithium for bipolar disorder. Also have a stent in left coronary artery.

Please don't take diuretics with Bi-Polar disorder and Lithium,you will upset the levels of Lithium in your blood and you will probably have an episode!!!I have been diagnosed with Bi-Polar for 5 years and take 1000mg of Depakote a day.I would call my doctor before you took anything esp. diuretics.
