they are brown/red in color and he complains it hurts when I comb his hair. It will go away temporarily when I wash his hair with dandruff shampoo (pyrithizone zinc) but is usually back the next morning. He has been diagnosed with exczema, but only has it occasionaly, it is not severe. Could these scales on his head be exczema, psoriasis or are they simply just dandruff?
Thanks!

When I was in grade school, I was one of the only kids I knew in my class who was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder and put on Ritalin. That was not a fun experience. It did help my concentration in school but Ritalin made me feel nauseated and often times very depressed. As I reached adulthood, I stopped taking the medication and in time I learned to concentrate on my own. So when I look back I am not so sure I ever really needed to be on medication at all. Nowadays, it seems like doctors are so quick to diagnose a kid with ADD, if he or she has any kind of attention problem and prescribe then with Ritalin or Adderall. I haven't read too much literature on this recently, but it seems like we still don't know what the long term affects can be from medicating kids at such a young age. Do you think we going overboard with diagnosing ADD these days and prescribing medication, or is ADD really a growing problem?

I beleive its linked to my dad leaving us after cheating when i was 5 etc but i strangely never think of him much. I worry about lots of small things and have so many great things going on for me right now what with getting married and great flexible new job.
I have been off work all week and am not sleeping much. doctor is trying me on Ciprelex / Lexapro and tamazapam to sleep. I am so worried about not being at work as new job and no sick pay. I also worry my wife to be will get fed up of it even though she has suffered with it and understands. I dont seem to get much help by doing breathing excercises or the like. I want CBT or counselling but is expensive privately and long waiting list on NHS. I just always feel on edge and nervous and adrenline pumping and is a viscious circle of worrying about being worried. I am up now at 12am and was hoping to go back to work in morning, Looks unlikely. What can i do?

No need to judge please, I DON"T care to here the comments about how marijuana is sooo bad for. I'm not trying to be harsh, but save it for someone who cares please. Thank you dear.

I'm wondering if you would be more likely to give a dirty urine sample if you smoked the really good stuff once a day, or the crappy stuff 3 times a day? In other words is there more THC in one gram of hydro than there is in 2 grams of regular weed? Anyone who can give me a good answer to this will get 10 points thanks....:)

I'm taking Zoloft, but it doesn't seem to be doing much for me. I feel like I'm in this really dark place, and it's getting darker. I can't focus, can't get anything done, don't ever make plans. I really want this to change.

I mean seriously- I know we see a lot of really stupid questions in here.(stupid questions, stupid answers) BUT- The serious/important ones should be handled. If not anything good to say- leave the question alone. There's plenty of other people to bother. It's so high school. But wait- most of the people in here are under age and some -very immature. such a waste of time and space.

Haters can say all they want. Their just jealous. To the ones that agrees with me- Thank goodness theirs some mature people in here.

I'm out....

I know we wear them for weddings or special events, but are there women out there that wear them to work instead of pantyhose? I've heard they are coming back.

Please, only reply if you wear them regularly. I'm curious as to the benefits.
