It depends on many things... it is normal to lose up to 100+ hairs a day. Lack of iron or stress can make you lose hair, as can overuse of hair products and heat e.g. straighteners.
If your hair is longer, it will seem more noticeable when hair falls out. I would only worry if it is coming out in handfuls.

Well, it depends on where it's falling from.
If it's hair from the armpit or pubic hair, then none and I would suggest you see a doctor and stay away from innocent people.
Hair from the face (I'm not saying you have any, but you never know) usually falls out as well, and is probably similar to head hair.
Most of the sources I've read say about 200 hairs a day is normal.
Note that this can vary and is affected by genes, diet, stress at that time, the way you treat it, like chemically and combing etc, amongst other things. But for a normal healthy person with long hair ,about 200 hairs a day is normal. Please, treat your hair well, avoid harsh chemicals, harsh brushing, especially backwards and take care of your scalp. Eat well.
Don't worry, if you are losing all your hair consider, a fashionable wig, or hair plugs if you can afford it, otherwise shave it all now and pretend you've become a rebel, or a yuppie, and people won't notice when it's all gone.

Some hair falls always. The rate of new hair growth should be more than the rate of fall. You should have some vitamin containing Zinc(Zevit).Scalp should be clean.Let a doctor examine and see scalp ps clean from infection.Do not use shapoo which contain chemicals, switch over to herbal shampoo.Almond oil massage(few drops) daily is found to be beneficial.Avoid all tensions. You will have lovely long hair.
Always keep your hair too dry or wet.

they reckon up to 100 hairs a day is nothing to worry about.
long hair and dark hair is more noticeable.
also more common in summer or when the heating is on in the winter.
brushing your hair regularly stimulates growth

everyone loses hair everyday, no matter how healthy your scalp is, its OK. now that your hair is longer it may APPEAR that you are losing more hair, but that's only because each strand is longer. I wouldn't worry about it.
