You have raised the question under skin diseases. There is no disease under dermatology as woodworm. (A woodworm is not a specific species. It is the larval stage of certain wood-boring beetles.)
The ringworm, a fungus infection, affects the skin. Wood's light is used in the diagnosis of the ringworm of the scalp. Some fungi cause the infected hairs to fluoresce under Wood's light (a nickle oxide filter over an ultra-violet lamp, transmitting a wavelength of about 300 nm), while others are not. I presume that you are suffering from the ringworm of the scalp (Tinea capitis).
