The main cause of sinusitus is an improper toxin elimination system. The body want to get rid of toxins and begins backing up with too many toxins to get rid of efficiently. The body begins having an immune by causing inflamation of the sinuses to tell the body it needs fluids and minerals to combat the excessive toxins. In this tug of war between the immune response and the toxins, bacteria begins forming in the acidic evironment created by the toxins and mucous trying to get rid of the the toxins. Increasing fluiids, adding sea salt to water, drinking a little juice with vinegar and salt flushes are ways to help remineralize, rehydrate, and balance the pH making the body return to an efficient state.

I would take a shot of carrot juice with a tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar every day, with a dash of cinnamon, a dash of turmeric, and as much cayenne as I could tolerate every morning.

I have suffered from sinusitis my entire life. I eventually had endoscopic sinus surgery in January, 2003. Since then, my life has been a living hell. Polyps developed due to the surgery and were blocking normal nasal drainage. I have had to be on steroids to help shrink the polyps, but they kept returning. Serious infections caused me to take antibiotics every two months.
I was at the end of my rope in despair. I started using raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. One tablespoon in a glass of water before and after meals. I drank 6 to 8 glasses the first day and my sinuses dryed up completely and I felt the polyps shrink. I can breathe like a normal person. I absolutely feel 100% better and I now feel like a normal human being. Good luck to all of you.

You might try the water cure.
Drink 6-8 glasses of distilled water with a dash of unrefined sea salt every day and watch how your body responds.

Hot licorice root and giner tea can help clear sinsues.
Avoid all dairy product.

Avoid white bread and pasta until sinuses are not inflamed and then only add glutens slowly back in the diet to avoid returning to an acidic pH balance.

It sounds simple but you may find the food you eat and the food you don't eat may be the key to good health.

Sinusitus is your immune response to toxins and rather than drugs and operations, learn to listen to your body and its cry for help.

Try This

1. Add 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt (fine) into 1 cup lukewarm distilled water in Nasal Cup (I put the solution in a regular cup and used a turkey baster and just let the water flow gently out of the turkey baster). Stir until salt fully dissolves. (Note: You may also add 1/4 tsp. of baking soda to buffer the salt - some people experience a slight irritation from the Sea Salt alone.)

2. Lean over sink with head facing down, then turned to right or left.

3. Place Nasal Cup spout (or turkey baster) in nostril that's now on top and gently tilt the cup until water is slowly flowing into nostril. Breathe through mouth. If water isn't flowing through to the other nostril, try tilting your head at different angles to open passageway. The more you relax doing this, the easier it is for the water to flow through.

4. Water will begin flowing out other nostril and into the sink. Continue until half the water has gone, then turn your head the other way and run the rest through the opposite nostril.

5. When Nasal Cup (or turkey baster) is empty, bend forward and let your head hang loosely to help get any remaining water out of the nose. (If you have mucous buildup for having a cold, you can blow your nose into the sink and it flushes the mucous out more)

6. Close one nostril with a finger and turn your head. Switch to the other nostril and do the same.

7. Blow gently through one nostril at a time, closing the other nostril with a finger to dry the nose.

8. Throwing your head back or bending over can also help get any remaining salt water out of the nasal passages.

I used this method after doing a search here and not finding the recipe to use. I am just getting over a cold, and my one ear drum was blocked up and swollen. This flush not only helped my nose, but my ear drum swelling isn't as bad either.
The best thing, is that I can actually breathe finally. I did all of the cleanses here last yr, and still had some minor breathing problems, though my sinus allergies were cleared up thanks to the cleanses. I never thought to cleanse my nose then during all of my cleansing. And yes, most ear infections are caused by sinus and mucous build up, so this method has worked wonderfully for that. :)

One thing you can do to determine if you are acidic is to get some pH srtips fom a pool supply store and urinate on one every morning to see how you are progressing. Stick with one modailty for at least a week and test your body at the end f the week. Keep adding more potential cures until you get a proper pH balance and then watch how your sinuses will become progressively less inflamed.

Yah Bless

Most usually by a viral infection of the sinues. Other reasons are illicit drug use, and overuse of drugs such as AFRIN or anything containing Oxymetazoline HCL.

Oh yeah, picking your nose would do it too..
