MY NIEGHBORS ALL HAVE HEAD LICE. SHE HAS TOLD ME THE KIDS WERE TREATED BUT THEN SHE SAID SHE JUST HAD TO DO IT AGAIN 4 DAYS AGO. NOW THE OTHER NIEGHBORS HAVE SHAVED THIER HAIR AND NOW IM FREAKIN OUT ABOUT MY OWN KIDS. THEY HAVE NOT PLAYED WITH THEM IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO BUT THEY ARE STILL OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME AND I FOUND THEM ON OUR TRAMPOLINE YESTERDAY WITH MY KIDS. I HAVE LOOKED THROUGH MY KIDS HAIR AND HAVENT FOUND ANYTHING BUT IM WORRIED THAT IN A WEEK OR TWO THEY WILL. AM I JUST OVER REACTING? HELP, DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO I HATE JUST WAITING FOR THEM TO GET LICE. I CANT TRUST ANYTHING SHE SAYS SHE TOLD ME HER KIDS GOT IT FROM THE KIDS AT SCHOOL BUT SCHOOL HAS BEEN OUT FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS AND HER KIDS ONLY HAD THE NITS AND A FEW BUGS. NOW I AM JUST SITTING AROUND THE HOUSE ITCHING AT THE THOUGHT OF LICE. WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

what would cause my sister, an otherwise totally healthy thirteen year old girl, to suddenly begin losing hair? at first we thought it was just normal shedding, but she has lost probably half of her hair and bald spots are starting to appear. What could cause this? How could we fix it? Is this a warning sign or a symptom of some kind? Help!!

how do you get rid of them without using those shampoos and without shaving it all off? the shampoos i have tried before and they didnt work , i even hung all the bedding etc outside and cleaned everything but i still keep getting them from school , also is there any way to prevent them from coming back ?
please dont say shaving is the only option , my hair grows very slowly (it took 2 years to grow back to shoulder length when i cut it all off before) , please help to get rid of them for a little while at least.

I've had history of overian pain, it really started on June 1st and then it was severe! I went to the E.R and was givin painkillers and antibiotics. so then after that I had pain down there still after ending the pain meds. and its the same pain... I went to my obgyn doctor about it, and he schedualed an ultrasound, but it came out normal... so tonight I'm still having the really bad pain.... I don't know what to do??? I am due for my period...

I am determined more then ever to get this weight off. I cannot take it anymore. It makes no sense. I am a prisoner of my own body. I need a strict menu to follow and some serious advice on what kind of workout to follow so I can rid myself of this gluttonous amount of weight that I am holding onto with a vice grip. I feel sick sharing this , but the more truthful I am with myself hopefully the greater the success this time around. I think about what I am going to snack on before my full stomach empties out. It really isnt about how I look because I dress well for my size I never allowed my size to dictate how I dressed in public, but it is my health. I had a full physical last month and thank God my glucose, thyroid and cholesteroil readings were all good. I feel like now is my opportunity to make it happen.God willing the big 30 is next month. This weight that I have been carrying for 23 years has got to go. All advice that can aid me in this endeavor would be great.Thanx

when you have low iron do you have diarreah from it and when you eat do you feel sick? i have been found with low iron and i am not sure if this happens as it is happening to me, i have just been told to take iron tablets. i also have been getting floaters in my eyes, those black dot things, is it from that too? thanks for any help

Three times, I've had episodes where my CPK enzyme levels have spiked (1400 the first time, 1100 the second. No test on the third).
This is associated with a rash on my upper torso and lower face. (looks like small surface hemmoraging. There's no inflammation around the initial points, and no itching)

These episodes have happened at different times of the year, while I was on different diets, and there was no pesticide spraying within 2 blocks of my residence (by a professional lawn care company or municipality)

My doctor has eliminated a whole bunch of posabilities, but we haven't been able to come up with anything that matches. Any new avenues of research would be greatly appreciated.

a family member just found out they have cancer. they don't want to have surgery or radiation treatment of any kind. i wondered if they will die in a lot of pain if they get no treatment at all. they really are going to refuse treatment.
