You should eat healthy, dont eat fatty foods and drink a lot of water. There really is no other healthy way to lose wieght then to work out and eat healthy. You could get gastric bypass surgery.

No dieting and NO working out. And you REALLY want to lose weight? Make a life change, not go on a diet. Eat smarter. The average person only needs about 2000 calories. If you eat 3500 calories a day on top of what ever you are burning, which must not be much since you are sedentary, you will gain a pound a day. Cut out breads and sugars. Eat protein (chicken, eggs, fish...etc) and stick to salad with low fat dressing. Also, stay away from soda pop.
The only other possible way to achieve this is if you are at least 100 pounds overweight a gastric bypass would be an alternative. You might want to speak with your doctor about it. Good Luck

You can still work out. People in wheelchairs work out. Get some freeweights and do upper body exercises while seated.
And what do you mean you can't diet? Of course you can. You need to stop making excuses and start doing what you can. The heavier you are, the more bone fractures you're going to suffer, so you might as well do something about it now, before it's too late.
If you are looking for a magic weight loss pill, you're treading on thin ice. Your heart will likely not withstand any kind of major drug in your system. Be careful! Join a support group.

It seems that you are between a sword and a hard place. Since u can't workout(ur best bet) how about watching your intake. Changing your eating habits will help a great deal. Example, by replacing pop with water or a low carb drink(diet Ocean Spray & Fuze are pretty good) I lost 5 pounds in a 11/2 weeks time without exercize(I had a knee injury). Also make better choices if you're going out to eat, even though you should limit the times that you eat out. Believe me your waist and your wallet will be glad. Well I hope ur fracture heals promptly. Good luck.

there's not much else, than i know of, that you can do to lose weight without eating healthier and doing a bit of excercise, whether it's walking, or doing those goofy little chair excercises on 'sit and be fit'.
if you're unable to diet or exercise, then that leaves pills or surgery, be it lipo or gasteric bypass.
diet pills are a quick fix to whatever problem you're having with being overweight and sometimes they can create more problems than what you started out with (just look at all these law suits on diet pills).
surgery can be costly. i do have a friend that's going to be going through the whole gasteric bypass surgery thing, but then she is very overweight (obese) and the doctors are actually surprised that she has not ended up with diabetes or other diseases/illnesses associated with being overweight. i also have a co-worker that had the same surgery a couple years ago, and has been suffering from complications ever since, and as a result, it was not very effective.
as far as your depression goes, perhaps you should speak with someone or perhaps try to at least go outside in the sun more if you are stuck in doors as i have heard that lack of sunlight can make one more likely to be depressed.
the best thing to do though is to speak with your doctor regarding your concerns and see what they recommend you do to lose weight since they are aware of what you are able to handle due to your fractured coccyx.

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic). You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Exercise really is the key to weight loss. Eating a better diet will help to some degree, but being active is the key.
Once your tail bone is healed, then you can safely exercise within any limitations your doctor gives you. (I Understand, I have fractured my tailbone before as well).
Also, quick weight loss usually returns quickly as well, and is traumatic to your body, it can cause grave health problems.

Get liposuction surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible.
As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.
my cousin got her breast reduction/tummy tuck/buttoc... lift surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise fore this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company.hope this helps

It's possible to diet without exercising, but you have to be careful. You can't lose weight by not doing either. Sorry, there is no magic pill for you to take.
