Sounds like anemia...Have you seen a doctor? Doesn't sound healthy what you have. There could be underlying problems that need to be diagnosed immediately.

I know that I.V. iron supplementation can cause diarreah. I don't think it's from low iron.... your supplements could be the cause. Why were you told to take iron? Low Red Blood Cell count / Anemia? The reason I am asking is, if you take too much Iron, you could develope iron toxicity. If an MD recommended you to take an iron supplement, they should have also indicated an amount per day.

Floaters in the eyes could be a few things. Never heard of a correlation between iron and floaters, but floaters can be a sign of a neurological problem, high blood pressure or eye disease. You really need to see an MD to find the cause. Floaters could be an indication of something very serious.

I didn't have diarreah when I was REALLy low on iron, but those black things yea. Some other side effects that your low on iron is that you always crave Ice, and dizziness, whenever you get up. Also when you stand up everything going black and then coming back. Your lips looking pale or when you press on your finger not seeing blood move, are some side effects.

You need to go to your doctor who will give you a check up and do a blood test to check your haemoglobin . From experience a normal level is around 12-14. If it is 10 or less it means you are anemic. I had low haemoglobin and had dizziness sometimes, especially sleepiness and palpitations. My haemogoblin was less than 10, the doctor prescribed for me iron tablets for a couple of months which helped me. You have to be careful about taking iron tablets for long term , so do see your doctor. That's the best thing to do.

Side affects of low iron are anemia, low red blood cell count, and tiredness. If you are getting sick, try eating some solid food when you take the iron because you can get a whopper of a stomach ache. You are not supposed to take iron with dairy because it interferes with absorption. Taking iron causes constipation. I've known lots of pregnant women who got sick taking iron and had to discontinue it. You really need to consult with your family physician.

one of the major signs of low iron is that your bruise easily whenever you bump into anything. another is fatigue, fatigue, irritability, brittle nails, decreased appetite sometimes, occasional headache, weakness, and sometimes shortness of breath. this condition is called iron deficiency anemia and can be helped by taking iron supplements like you have been. as a note: iron supplements make your poo turn greenish black so dont be alarmed. it is also a good idea to take iron pills with orange juice or anything else containing vitamin C because vitamin C help increase absorption of the iron, making sure you get the most iron possible out of the pill.

I can't really help you much, but I know when you take iron pills it gets you constipated so maybe if you have diarrhea, this will help. Gall bladder problems also gives you diarrhea. You need to go to the doctor!

you are probably anemic. eat foods that are iron rich such as lean red meats, dark green vegetables, and iron fortified cereals. the floaters may be from the fatigue you are probably suffering from. i had floaters and the dr. checked me for retinal detachment. he said i needed to use drops to moisturize my eyes to keep my retina from dring out. i would see a dr. for the eye thing.
