PID or Pelvic inflammatory disease is caused mostly by untreated STD's such as Trichmonisis vaginalis, Gonorrhea or even a normal untreated Urinary Tract infection from not wiping correctly. Anal then vaginal sex can also introduce some pathogenic bacteria in your vaginal area and if not treated can lead to PID.
