My dad is 75 years old and is undergoing raditation and chemo therapy for small cell lung cancer. He isn't one to complain (he is a proud man), but he has been complaining of how weak these treatments make him. Also, he goes four days per week and has to travel 2 hours to the hospital for therapy (nearest Veterans Hosp.). I was wandering if there was some vitamins or herbs that may help. I know nothing will work miracles, but it is so hard seeing him so worn down and with the long trips he needs all the energy he can get. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have a bulging disc in my L4/L5, and L5/S1. I have had two epidurals, but none of them really worked. The pain shoots down my leg and through my hamstring and peraformis (sp?) muscle along the sciatic (sp?) nerve. I bought an inversion table, which helped a little bit, but still have back pain whenever I stand or sit. Ugh! I'm open to any suggestions that anyone might have, short of putting a bullet in my head to end my chroic pain :)

I've heard of using ammonia, clove oil and a couple other things, but they don't work.

Please do NOT mention going to a dentist in your reply. I'd rather be in pain for the rest of my life and lose every single tooth in my mouth than sit in a dentist's chair again.

ok this is what happened, Ive been a user of the green stuff[pot] since I was in jr high Im now 22 i was high and talking with a friend when i lost normal consiousness. its like I was hearing what she was saying but i wasnt Like something disconnected in my brain. thats the only way i know how to put it. but it freaked me out, im wondering if that could happen to me permenantly. What the hell happened? noone seems to know. has anyone else expierienced this? it was like i suddnly got depressed right before it happened
