I really don't agree with the diagnosis! I see a specialist on Monday, in the meantime I'm on large doses of Prednizone. This problem can cause blindness if not treated right away. It's an inflamation of the artery above the eye. I think it's all migraine related and my blood test turned out ok. The next step is a biopsy. Any one here have this happen? I need to hear your experience. thanks

Can I get pregnant if I skip the placebo pills in my birthcontrol?

I recently skipped the placebo pills in my birth control in order to change when I got my period so that it would not happen on my upcoming honeymoon. I am concerned, though, that when I go on my placebos after taking 6 weeks straight of my birth-control that I will get pregnant because I "spotted" during the last 3 weeks of my birthcontrol.

Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Herpes?? Canker sores???

Ok... Now Canker Sores are herpes virus. Now my question is if someone has a canker sore and performs oral sex on someone can that cause genital herpes? Or is that a different strain of the virus?

How do you keep snuff fresh?

I dip snuff, but not very often. Maybe once or twice everyday. Sometimes I go for a few days without dipping. Most of the time I get about half way through with the can and it's dry. Does anyone know how to keep the snuff fresh for about a month or so?

is avian flue a real threat to the world? Is it real pandemic or only an exegerated local epidemic?

An avian flue is not a new disease in the world. It is a zooneses that has re-emerge after being present in the world over several decades. But now all the world attention has been turned towards it as something very strange and a lot of money is invested in trying to find the effective vaccine, and probably later a vaccine will be developed and put in the market and all people will be required to be vaccinated as a measure to combart this disease.But what happened before, what is happening now without such a vaccine?

The disease was just an epidemic (to human beings) in certain parts of china and later to some few countries in asia. What about other parts of the world? In europe, africa and america has remain to be disease of birds and are the only one reported dead in these areas. So what do you think?

Are poppers safe?

There are so many conflicting reports on the web about whether or not poppers (amyl nitrate, butyl nitrate etc brand names include colt, max gold, buzz, tnt etc) are safe to be used as a recreational 'drug', either to heighten sexual pleasure or as something to give you a feeling of euphoria whilst clubbing. For years they have been popular in the gay community and widely available in gay stores/clubs, but more and more do I see them getting used in "straight" clubs.

I know what the effect they have on you is, I'm not looking for an explination of their uses (I know ALL about them!!), I'm looking for info on whether or not they are safe!

Or know someone that has? I want to know how likely it is that it'll work, and what can help.

I'm 21 and have been smoking a pack a day for a year. My lungs hurt really bad right now and I'm sick of this. I get short of breath very easily and I feel old.

I cannont figure out why the heck the tampon is not going in i cant even find the opening for it i need them bymonday for my swim meet im suppose to go to. Im 13 years old and am trying tampax pearl are they too big? Is there any tampons with a slimmer appalicator and where could i find them? Please help me. Where the heck is the opening for the tampon? My mom hasnt used tampons either and is clueless.

Does blood still flow through a penis when its hard?

What I mean is, does the blood go into the penis and stay there for the duration of the erection, or does it "leak" blood back into the body? If it doesn't leak, then why doesn't it clot?
