Gloomy , Unenlightened in mind or sprit
Completely disheartening, ignorant, yet mysterious.
You are inanimate to me now, and always will be.
I surround myself with dull sad colors of darkness that are the permanent cessation of all your vital functions.
We were content once , im almost sure of it.
With your unpleasant self destructive outlook of natural selection with variation, Darwinism huh? Let me tell you, that its not natural when you take your own life.
Tell me why you found me so invulnerable to your touch.
Did you really think I was incapable of suffering pain?
Or perhaps having no emotion?
I was only filled with apperehension of our departure.
So how could you do it without me?
How could you be so selfish?
Did you learn it from me?
-I wrote this after my lover attempted suicide-

The symptoms for depression are described quite well by the folks above. A lot of your recent questions are worrisome to me and I was kinda wondering what type of situation you've been going through. You've sounded depressed with some of the things you've said here, and then again some of your questions, answers, comments have made me laugh (out loud) - you are one cool guy! What are the side effects of depression? Other people, family, friends, and a few people here begin to worry about you.

Depression is a series of days in which you feel, sad, no energy so you don't want to do things you usually enjoy. We all have low days, but if your's persist for more that a couple of weeks, I would say you should speak with your doctor, or if you are a Christian, read Psalms 42. Reach out to your pastor or your doctor. It can progress and you want to "nip it in the bud"! Good Luck.

cheer up, you do seem to be happier now... when you feel down it brings me down too. life is not meant to be lived "happy" all the time, we will have our ups and downs but that's how we learn, move on and maybe do some soul searching along the way (it seems like you've already started)

apparently you can have hair loss, loss of weight or gaining. insomnia, as well as the normal feeling of sadness. though you should get your thyroid checked out as well, it can mimic signs of depression. jsut found out the same thing not too long ago...
