I agree with the first answer........keep it in a ziploc bag in the freezer. Any extra unopened cans should be kept in the freezer too....and they'll last a long time.

It depends, what kind of snuff is it. If it is some fresh copenhagen snuff, pretty much no matter what you do it will not stay fresh. It has to do with the fiberboard can. Now if you want to sacrifice a little taste, grab a can of timberwolf natural fine cut. Timberwolf seems to have the best cans the keep in the freshness, they seal the tightest. Timberwolf is also the lowest in TSNA's(cancer causing agents). I do agree with the water, put it in a tightly sealed bag in the refridgerator. Also, i would like to recommend chewing tobacco, it stays fresh alot longer than dip. I would suggest Redman Golden Blend, but you can never go wrong with fresh snuff. Have fun, and keep on dipping!!

Bag the snuff and freezer it, but use a Timberwolf can or any other can with a good seal. The Copenhagen snuff cans that I dip suck for freshness!
