I have a younger friend who would like to start and she is wondering how you should ride if she wanted to do English style... and is it very hard to learn or do you catch on?

I just bought my boyfriend a collectors item for his birthday, it's an 11" x 14" Billboard Magazine ad of Genya Ravan...who he loves! Anyway, as of right now it's just a regular peice of paper but I'd love to get it laminated, and then some put in some sort of decorative frame. I need creative ideas! And also, how do I go about getitng it laminated? Where do I go for that?? Thanks for all the help in advance!

Hi, I'm making a list of yarn colors I'd like to buy at Michaels. I already have the colors red, blue, and pink. The colors I'm putting on my checklist are orange, yellow, green, purple, white, brown, and black. Did I forget any other colors? I'm buying yarn to learn how to crochet.

Is there a specific yarn for crochetting that is different than knitting yarn?

I'd like to crochet many different stuffies. Is there a specific sized hook that is used for crochetting most patterns? What two sized hooks should I buy?

I am new to knitting and bought a beginner's kit to knit three cat toys for my kitties. However, the directions are so confusing. It came with a dvd and I have been using the dvd and the written instructions but it is very unclear as to whether I am to do the English or Continental style. Does it matter? What is the difference?

I am looking for an activity like letterboxing or mayeb something that has the same concept as it. I really enjoy letterboxing and traveling to find the stamp and get it in the book so i want something like that where you have to go places to find something. I live in a small town away from any stores that retail zippo lighter fluid but there is a dollar store that sells non zippo brand lighter fluid in 4.5 oz cans... Should i go out of my way and drive to town (1h 45mins) to get zippo premium lighter fluid or just buy the non zippo stuff?

I don't sew so I'd need to go to some type of fabric store that can make it for me. I also would need to know what kind of fabric to use. I'm on a budget so I can't make leather. It would be circular Diameter 50" X Height 14". I'm in Bay area california, Walnut Creek. Any ideas would be appreciative! Also what kind of costs would I be looking at? These are made of metal, they are hollow, they have no thread to screw onto something, the top and bottoms are secure ( not meant to be opened).
Ive been trying to find out what they are for some time now so any help will be great.
