I just bought a remote control airplane for my nephew. It's Hobbico Flyzone SkyFly. I would like to sign him up for a class or get him in touch with a club there who could teach him how to use fly the plane. It's a beginner plane but my nephew is only ten so he might need some help from an expert. He lives in San Luis Obispo. Any recommendations? Thank you!

I'm not EXACTLY sure what it actually is...

What supplies do I need? Is there a good store online that I can get them from? Is it expensive?

What can I decoupage...on? Just anything?

THanks!

I saw a quilt the other day that was done with all wavy lines in it and it had dime sized fish, turtles as a decorative border stitch. Does anyone know what kind of machine does this? How much would it cost? I do a lot of crazy quilting and want a new machine that doesn't cost thousands. Any suggestions?

I've just made a soccer banner for my daughter's team made out of felt and fabric. The banner itself is a piece of 4ft X 3ft piece of felt. I know that I should probably just sew on the pieces to really secure the banner, but can I spray something on it to reinforce it (i.e. spray adhesive, scotchguard) that's as strong as sewing the items on there?

While I was digging through the attic, I found a couple of these coins. They look absolutely nothing like the coins I see on infomercials today with Liberty on the front and a family of eagles on the reverse side. I did a lot of research and found the Silver Eagles weren't being printed in 1974, even though that's what the coin says it is. I cannot even find a picture of my coin online. I'm not sure what it is or what it's called (or even, if it's worth anything). It looks like it has a bust of Washington on the front. It reads "Liberty Lobby" beneath the bust. (I did some research on the Liberty Lobby also and found it was an anti-Communist political group that disbanded in 2001. For the time being, I'm assuming this coin may be something printed by that Lobby, if possible...) Like the other Silver Eagles, it reads "Fine .999."

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For my show choir each section (sopranos, altos, basses, tenors) have to make a basket that has a theme (movie night, girls night out, etc.) to be auctioned off at one of our big fundraisers and I am looking for ideas. The ideas above are ok but overdone. So I am looking for fresh new ideas. Last year my group did a scrapbooking basket.

Anything would help!

I am helping my mother with an afghan and have put it off for weeks now. Anyway she has blocks done in the afghan stitch and I have offered to embroider the pattern on the block. I have cross stitched before so I know what I am doing but using aida cloth is easy. I'm kinda getting lost on where I should start and where I should end my X. Does anyone relate to what I am asking?

Thanks!

For my World Religions class, we are researching Earth religions, and our first assignment is to make a totem pole using three animals that symbolize who we are. It can't be too big, and I was thinking of using a paper towel roll and some paper mache to put the faces on because it has to be realistic. However, everyone is doing it that way and I want mine to be a little different. Any ideas on what tools to use or how to go about making mine special?

When I was a kid, I remember using just flour & water.

I'm making a pinata now, so I googled to find tips on the correct proportions of flour to water & I see all kinds of different ideas for pinata glue! Some involve boiling, adding oils & glues, using watered down school glue, etc.

So, what have you used? What worked best? What's your experience with pinata glue?

I have tried the dark and light iron on transfer sheets for the ink-jet printer. Image is very nice but I just don't like the 'plastic' thats transfered, doesn't breathe. Screen printing is just overkill, but I have done it before. I would like to find a way to print on a ink-jet then transfer 'only the ink' onto the shirt. am I asking the impossible?
