I want to use things from nature like leaves and pine cones to decorate with. I am planning on spray painting them gold. How do I make sure all the critters are out of them and dead? Also, do I polyurathane or shellac them also? Would it look good to use glitter on pine cones?

I was wondering if there is any paper that you can put in your inkjet printer and then transfer the sayings or pictures to your scrapbook paper. If so, what is the name of the particular paper and do you need any other supplies? Thanks

My friend and I crochet afghans for kids at a local hospital, and we're always on the lookout for free or very cheap yarn to use, and so I was wondering if anyone has any they'd be willing to donate. I live in the Twin Cities area, and would be willing to drive a distance to pick it up. If you live too far away, I'd be willing to pay postage for you to mail it to me. It needs to be acryllic yarn so that it's washable. Color doesn't matter, I'll take anything, full new skeins, partially used, old, new, etc. Thanks for your consideration.

just like how a sphere globe is printed as another shape onto an atlas. the reason id like to know is because i want to print out stencils to cut out and put onto an uneven surface such as a helmet.

On the back there are gashes or lines going through the NIT in United, the leaf closest to the United, through the stem on the left leaf, the bottom of the torch, and a gash near the right of the bottom of the torch. Also there is a line going from the tip the flame to the top leaf on the right. The PL and part of the first E in E PLURIB USUNUM and the last A in AMERICA plus part of the ME in DIME is flat or molded together or smushed down

I'm looking for something in between one that is a weapon and and a childs toy, if none exist more to the toy format. Just because I dont want to hurt someone or something while playing around but it would be nice if it could atleast dent tin cans.Also, what should I use as ammo? Would little pond rocks from the dollar store be too heavy?

I have to make a french horn lyre. I wouldn't normally make it, all of the music stores are closed that carry these. I'm having trouble making the top clamp light enough to be handled by the small skinny metal part.

I made the top part out of a plastic hanger clamp.
What should I make the skinny long metal part out of?

OK, so at work for my school age kids i am doing the birthday chart along with the season. I have leaves that they have colored and i have cut out and i have bigger leaves that have their names and birthdays on them. But i need some kind of tagline that will have people know what the leaves are for. any help? any ideas?
