I was taught how to knit as a child but never had the chance to keep it going. I've completely forgot everything i was shown & would like to learn how to knit again so i can make a few things for my baby to treasure & pass down when she has kids.

Is it something i can learn from a book as i have no one to show me & can't afford to pay someone. Also what basic items will i need to begin & can you recommend a good book thats easy to follow.

I am collecting all the state quarters. How long will it take me to collect all the quarters? I have 41 quarters to go and I have 8 quarters that I already have. My grandpa and my uncle also collect the state quarters. I also have the list of state quarters . So I am checking off the quarters I have. I am also going to be ordering the folder that I can put them in. I heard that they are worth only 12.00 after I get all of them in the folder. Is that true?

my son who has adhd collects autographs as a little hobby, i send a self , stamped adressed envelope to the people whose autograph he wants and they usually send one back. Now the problem is he wants wrestlers autographs, such as john cena and batista, i sought out the addresses and went to send them a letter and a self stamped addressed envelope but the post office said that it wouldn't work from britan to america, as the postage system dosen't work that way.. my son was quite gutted that he cannot get stars autographs from america so i just would like to ask if anyone can devise a way to get me the autographs from america to britan? or if anyone would get them for me and devise a way that i can pay your postage

I work in a call center and we are having a fall decorating contest for our cubicles. Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas on how to decorate a cubicle for fall? We are also having a contest amongst our teams, as far as most original. The entire team dresses up as the same thing, well for example, last year half of our team were angels and the other half were devils. We decorated one side of the area in flames and pitchforks and the angel side in cotton and white sheets. It was pretty cool. Now we need an idea for this year, whether it is half and half like last year or all one theme for entire team. Come on, I need to some creative ideas for both questions. I want to win the cubicle fall decor contest.

I heard that there are errors on the presidential dollars. They have not been touched by humans before. Should I take them out of the roles and use latex gloves to put them into each individual cardboard holders. Would this decrease the value of them? Or should I go ahead and do it?

I've had this for almost five years now and I have never had any problems with it, what so ever. It has always worked perfectly and I take care of it. Earlier this evening, I was using the stretch stitch and the very tip of my needle bent and got caught on the bobbin. After finally coaxing it out manually, it stopped doing that stitch. I put a new needle and it sews normally, perfectly but, still won't do a stretch stitch. I have taken the top of the casing off and part of the side and there are no broken gears and nothing has slipped.

Can anyone help me with figuring out why it's not doing the stretch stitch anymore? I searched the internet and couldn't find any information on it and my user manual isn't very informative. Any help or links to any websites that could walk me through fixing it would be great. Thank you.
