I just purchased 2 St. Thomas Elvis Presley Coins on ebay from an all coin seller ( arkadyn ) who has a 99.99 % positive feedback. I paid $ 11.99 for a 1993 500 Dobras uncirculated Elvis Presley coin + $ 19.99 for a 1993 1000 Dobras Silver Proof Elvis Presley coin ... I bought these coins as an Elvis fan not as a coin collector.....but I was wondering what their book value is ? What is their intrinsic value ? Has anyone bought from this ebay seller ? Is this seller reputable ? I have been told that the Elvis Presley $ 5 & $ 10 Marshall Island coins don't have much value & are not even used much as legal tender ?....but, I am merely interested in obtaining one set of these Elvis coins simply as Elvis memorabillia although I am curious as to what the value of all 4 of these coins might be ?

I am helping to create a kids TV show, and I need to make a custom kids story book that is old looking and bulky.

(here is an example http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/2303/exampleafc2.png)

Best case is if I can totally customize it, minimum would be any book that looks like that

Thank you in advance!

I received a wheat penny collection as a Christmas gift about 10 years ago. I tucked it away and forgot about until now. I've been looking at different websites and have found conflicting prices. Can anyone out there tell me a close guesstimate of how much they are worth? They are all in very good condition; meaning they don't have any scratches, they're just a little dirty. I don't want to clean them just yet, since I have no idea of what would need to be done. I don't want to ruin them. Everything on them is very legible. I'm pretty sure they have been circulated though.

to make a standing form that I could dress up for the different holidays, and just change the heads & costume to coincide with the season, .. I'm thinking maybe out of pvc pipe or dowels etc. Somewhat like the scarecrows and ghostley characters that you see this time of year. I'm thinking life size.

I have over 300 balloons to prepare for a very large event my organisation is hosting on 9th October the inflating is not a problem but we all find that after knotting the first 6 or so our hands start to really hurt. Does anyone know of a quick, easy and painless way to do this? Is there a tool that can be used to make it easier it doesn't help very much as I have arthritis and my fingers and thumbs are not as flexible as they used to be! Would appreciate any sensible advice!

There's a project at school where we're drawing up plans on manufacturing birdhouses and I don't know anything about birdhouses.

My first step is trying to figure out what kind of material to use. I have some ideas, but I'd like to know a bit more.

Particularly, what's usually the best material to make a birdhouse out of?

I mean, of course wood, but what kind of wood and why? Something not too expensive, not too cheap and something easy to work with without being too soft.

We are doing a life-size Candyland for the community this October 31st. This will be our 3rd year doing this. This year will be the biggest yet. We are holding it at community gym. I need ideas or suggestions of how to make the floor pieces and life-size gumdrops. In the past, for the floor pieces we used floor tiles (ppl would trip over them, some cracked, and because we painted them, the paint would peel off) and cardboard (after the paint dries, the board warps. We taped them to the floor to prevent slipping. The taped ruins the floor). As for gumdrops, we just never used any. So does anyone have ideas or suggestions? We want to try and make the props ourselves.

I got lots of old toys (dolls, cars, action figures) big & small collectibles which I would like to preserve in clear plastic enclosures. These items if enclosed, would be kept from dust and insects, and would give them a longer self-life. These would also serve as decorative piece, can be displayed in your living or bedroom or somewhere inside your home you found appropriate.

My 8 year old son has to make one for school. I've search on here but all I can find is about the culture and how they accually built them. What I need is something to tell me how to go about making one. I can't even find any pictures of what they look like. Is there a site that would show school projects so I can see what I need to do?
