Yes, Answers have become one of my hobbies.

I enjoy particularly the Hobbies & Crafts and the Home & Garden sections, because people are ACTUALLY seeking answers and receive (for the most part) HONEST and HELPFUL answers. I also enjoy the "Rail" section since I'm a model railroader as my primary hobby.

I will venture into the Politics & Government sections on a rare occassion, but am put off by the attitude there at most times.

I don't think I'm an addict... yet.

Hobby? More like an Addiction or an Obsession You could call it the need to help others Just don't let them get a close look at your Questions and Answers

I'd considered it to be more of a pastime than a hobby, along with Ravenblack's online vampire game and the no-longer available SG-1 online game. It caught my eye(s) from a plug at a Yahoo Group homepage. It seems relatively efficient.

I have looked at some of the other question-and-answer groups and they didn't seem to offer any advantages. It's good to get away from the keyboard and it's good to get back again. :-)

Yahoo answers isn't a hobby it is a sanctuary. I
come here to get mental healing. I use Yahoo to
escape my every day demands. I use to be addicted but now it has become just a familiar
friend.

Well it is not a hobby for me. I as a young man was helped out by some old timers, I learned more from them on numismatics then a lot of books. I am just trying to pay them back, by helping others with questions on coins, medals and tokens. What comes around goes around.

It has become addictive. It is fun and you can learn all kinds of things. The rest of my many hobbies get much less attention than before.

It's a great pass time. I'm thinking that if I continue at it..in a few yeas...if all my 'answers' are still saved...one could actually collect them and have a very clear picture of the person I am. That's pretty awesome. Also...who ARE all these people who have added me as their contacts? Wish I were 1/10th as popular in r/l.

Not really.

In some categories I can be of help because of the work I have done, in others I can't help getting a good laugh from some of the questions and answers.

Oh Yeah! I even wrote it on my profile. I only frequent a few sections , like hobbies, gardening , health and seniors. My husband always says "are you playing Ann Landers again?" to which I reply ,"so many questions.so little time!"
