Apparently, free scrub hats patterns just are not to be found over the Internet...so I did a little investigating using different terms in the search engine and found some possibilities:
Here is a website with a lot of free hat patterns. After looking through them, I thought there were a few that could be adjusted to be used as a scrub cap: http://www.fmfcorp.com/familyspot/haircover.html
I've listed some of the more promising patterns:
Head and Tails (originally made for cancer patients): This looks real promising. Don't add the "tail" down the back and it looks pretty much like the tie-back scrub hat. http://www.sewersforum.com/photogal/cancercap.pdf
The Caul Cap is worn "behind" the head to hold women's hair but if you fit the cap to go over your head properly, you can add ties and have a scrub hat: http://www.sewersforum.com/photogal/cancercap.pdf
The Bucket Hat might also work. Instead of adding a brim, to the sides, you would add a band of fabric to tie it in the back:

I've seen the "Snood" style as a scrub hat as well: http://proudmommy.tripod.com/snood.html
Hope this is helpful.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/WoodworkingTechniques
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

You are probably tired of looking through stacks and stacks of projects on woodworking in magazines and books of all kinds for some instructions on how to do a certain project. Here is a site which offers 16000 plans https://tr.im/WoodworkingPlansAndTechniques
How would you like to have woodworking plans (actually thousands of them) available to you anytime you wanted them. It would be so easy when you do not have to paw through all kinds of old magazines but have it right there at your fingertips.

This is one of the best collection of plans I’ve seen: https://tr.im/A8fzn
There is enough variety of projects in here, big and small, intricate and simple, and you can pick out new ones as you progress in your woodworking abilities.
It’s a great feeling knowing you made something by hand. It’s always fun to show off your craftsmanship, and ladies love it too!

During that time he worked with a postdoctoral researcher from the Instituto de Fisica de Cantabria in Spain and continued his Rutgers research searching for evidence of new subatomic particles generated by proton collisions in the LHC. These particles may give scientists insight into previously unknown properties of matter.

Along with stone, mud and animal parts, wood was one of the first materials worked by early humans. Microwear analysis of the Mousterian stone tools used by the Neanderthals show that many were used to work wood. The development of civilization was closely tied to the development of increasingly greater degrees of skill in working these materials.

I haven't found any free ones, but you can make a pattern from an old one, or, as the person above me suggested, patterns are very cheap at the fabric store.
