decorate a notebook, binder, or planner??

Question

how can i decorate a notebook, planner, or binder? should i make a collage of little things i cute out from magazines? what should i cut out? any ideas?
i am in 13. k thx!!!

For a notebook, glue on pretty papers. Maybe one sheet to nearly cover the front, and a smaller long strip to cover the rest. Maybe add a ribbon where they come together.
Add pics of your friends, or pets.
I think I'd use decoupage to attach the papers and photos. If you have only one picture of a friend, make a copy first, and use the copy.

If you go to Office Depot or Staples, they sell notebooks that allow you to slip a picture of anything you want, under the plastic covering on the notebook. You slide it in from the top. Once you tire of what you have used as a cover, slide it out and replace it with something else. Make a collage of pictures of all your friends. Once you have completed it, make a copy and insert this in the cover.
