Are there still large amounts of pre-decimal British coins floating around? I have close to ten pounds (by weight) of them which I am still sorting out. Even a few EdwVII and Victoria pennies and half pennies. I get no clues from eBay.
The only coins advertised much on eBay are "lucky" sixpence for brides to wear in their shoes.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a waterproof fabric glue. I need it to decorate my young daughters dance outfits. We are putting on little sparkly jewels on her top and need a glue that will withstand going in the washing machine. I have already bought a so called waterproof glue but all the gems came off in the wash.

I'm doing a big craft project using baby food jars and I want them to look uniform and nice -- which means no baby food logos on the lids. I was going to spray paint each lid but it's just not turning out the way I'd hoped.

So instead of spray painting, is there a way I can just strip the lids to remove the painted logos? The lids are metal, so what could I use for that? I need the most efficient method to do this because I have about 100 lids to strip! Thanks in advance.

I can find no references to it, but I thought I'd heard about this last year, even from the U.S. Mint's site.

Does anyone know how to check the population of the error coins? I have waited to purchase a graded error coin but the price still seems too high to me. Am I wrong? Has it leveled out already?

I think prices of MS-65s are around $60-120 and MS-66s are $180 - 300.

I am the owner of a Yahoo group and we are looking for ways to recycle or reuse old CDs or DVDs instead of placing them in the landfill. If you have a good site for a project please send that also.
Example: Making a Clock out of one, Chistmas ornaments, ect.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm making some jewelry and using small, round beads made of jasper, quartz, agate, etc. Does anyone know how they drill such small holes? Are there actually drill bits that tiny, or do they use lasers or what?
