DPG is made by the large chemical companies, like Dow. They sell it in bulk to chemical suppliers, who in turn, package it in smaller quantities for resale.

You might check with any stores that carry candle or perfume making supplies (perfume is probably the number one use for DPG). Other sources might be a janitorial supply, or pharmacy (Its amazing what all a pharmacy carries)

The most common use for DPG is as a carrier base for perfumes... it is used to dilute the "scent oils". It makes water and other liquids, 'wetter', and easier to pour.

Im not sure if 'glycol' would be the same thing as DPG, but I know that glycol is often used to make soap bubbles, and you can find it at your local pharmacy.

Good Luck

Making a pizza from scratch is your best bet for a healthy pizza. Frozen pizzas are full of sodium as are delivery pizzas. If you make a homemade pizza, try and use whole wheat flour, a fresh homemade sauce (very easy to make) and use lots of veggies and lean meats, such as grilled chicken, lean ground beef or turkey for your toppings. I would also suggest using a part-skim fresh mozzarella cheese as it has the least amount of bad fat in it (compared to chedder, etc). I have more tips for a healthy pizza along with healthy pizza recipes at the link below. Good luck!
