all different catalogues in America, and the occasional auction. Can someone please help me think of a "COIN" agenda'd visit here (ie,-maybe someone knows a cool coin collector, or great site, or auction coming up, or ANYTHING that will enable him to buy his beloved coins?) He doesn't care if they are old or new (preferrably new, but any country and either used or not is fine with him. I really want him to enjoy himself, and this willl add icing to the vacation-cake so to speak. please advise
ps-BEST is to actually go somwhere, not just mail order.

My brother is a senior in high school. He needs something to make for his woodshop class. Last year he got a 75 gallon fish tank and he built a huge base for it with drawers, cabinets, etc. He needs something better this year. He wanted to make a shed but his teacher told him he learned too much and needs something better than that. Any ideas of what he can make? He doesn't really want to make bedroom furniture because a lot of people do that and he wants something unique.

I knitted a sweater in an unbleached/undyed yarn; 70% wool, 30% mohair. I would like it to be just a little whiter. Does anyone have any suggestions? A trick you learned from Grandma maybe?

Hi. I'm just learning violin. And I'm renting a violin. But it didnt' come with much besides the violin and a bow and a case.
Is there anything I need for the strings on the bow??
And. I'm not quite sure how to tune it right..Does anyone know any good online violin tuning things? Like where it just makes the sound the string should make.
And any other information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

I know this is a silly question, but I've decided to crochet several lap blankets this Christmas for a majority of the women in my family. I've also thought of maybe selling them one day...but does anyone even buy them anymore?

The title says it all, what's the best way to attach a plastic object to another plastic object securely? I'm looking for a way to do it other than by superglue, because I'm concerned that might not be strong enough.

I just got my drumset from musiciansfriend.com and I am trying to assemble it, I have eveything assembled except my tom toms, that are suppose to be mounted on my bass drum. The thing is that the building instructions did not show how to mount the tom toms. There are many pieces to help mount the tom tom on the bass drum I dont know where to start!

It is a pulse brand drumset, if anyone has a website that shows step by step instructions I would highly appreciate it, or if someone can take the time to answer this question that would be cool too. Thanks in advance.

I want a smoother surface and the paper mache doesnt stick too well. Are there other things I could use to cover it?
Or, do you have any other suggestions on a different material to carve on? I want something easy to use. This is my first attempt at carving/sculpting.
