i just found some old envelops and i would like to know how old are 2 cent stamps? the ones that are on the envelops are blue and have stars and a 2 stamped by it. they are very old and brittle. anyone know about this stuff?

You might check the US Postal Service site, they have info on stamp collecting.
Are these the type of envelopes with the stamp printed on it or is the stamp separate? I remember when you could buy envelopes this way.
