i have some £5 coins and some £2

they arnt worth much to collectors but can i spend them like normal money?

I presume you live in the UK so you may have to check with the local banks. Here in the States all coins minted by the federal goverment from 1793 to 2007 are legal tender and can be spent.

only the £2 coins dont think you can spend £5 coins as they are not legal tender
