I don't know about Singapore, but here in Australia you can usually find it in the cake making section of large supermarkets. It's usually with the food colourings and flavourings.

I would say to buy them at a bulk food store like Bulk Barn or a health food store. I would also think they are available in a grocery store. if you can find Crown Lily White corn syrup, use that. It is Glucose syrup with some vanilla flavour Glycerine should be available in a pharmacy or local drug store.

glycerine is usually in med packs for outdoor survival...just look around. You'd be surprised to find it in a fairly obvious place

In the U.S. you'd find it in a small bottle on a drug store shelf (but even we have to ask sometimes exactly where it is).
It's also available cheaper, but in larger volume, at a feed and tack store because it's used on horses' hooves.
The same places would probably be good bets in Singapore.

I usually get my stuff at Michaels (& they always put a coupon in the Sunday paper). If I can't get to Michaels, I go to Hobby Lobby (you can print a coupon from your PC).
