I am looking for an activity like letterboxing or mayeb something that has the same concept as it. I really enjoy letterboxing and traveling to find the stamp and get it in the book so i want something like that where you have to go places to find something. If anyone has any things they know of i am very open to suggestions so please dont hesitate to give me a suggestion. Thank you so much. :]

Check your local tourism office and see if there are any local historical walking trails -- if not, write your own for them to publish!

I like geneology and going to graveyards to search for ancestors and find their birth and death dates. That only works if your family is from the area you live in, but maybe there were interesting people who lived in your area in the past who you could research. Going to the courthouse and looking up old land deeds to see who lived where you now live can be interesting, too.

Geocaching! It's the same as letterboxing except there is technology along with hints. Instead of a stamp, you sign the log. If the container is big enough, there's stuff for you to trade.

You'll have to buy a gps receiver but you can get new ones for as low as $35.00 on Ebay. Look for the yellow "E-trex" by Garmin. This website will get you started - you will be surprised how many are hidden within just a couple of miles from you. http://www.geocaching.com

And there are lots of fun podcasts on the subject too! hee hee
