Make a picture on your computer.
Any drawing program and many text programs can do that. (Like Paint and Word.)
You can use your own photos, drawings or text, or copy and paste almost everything from the www.

When you think that what you see on the screen is useful, get you some iron on sheets.
Many craft stores sell them, or if they do not, they will be able to tell you where to go.
You will have to make a mirror image of your picture, save it as it is, make a copy and use that to try to get it mirrored. Mostly you can choose this option in your printer driver too.

Follow the instructions on the iron on, but mostly you place your T-shirt flat on a flat surface, put the printed sheet on it.
Dry iron it. (If you have a steam iron, take all water out and let it heat to get rid of the rest water.)

If there are no instructions with the sheets, ask in the shop, mostly there will be instructions how to fix the ink to the shirts.

I hope this helps.

Iron On Words For Fabric

The simplist way to do words on your shirts, etc... is to make fabric words. It is a simple process. You get a piece of cotton fabric that you like, an equal size piece of a product called Wonder Under. (Wonder Under is sold in fabric stores and some craft stores. It is a sheet of dry glue on a sheet of paper sold by the yard.) You put the glue side against the backside of your fabric and dry iron it on. On the paper back, you can now draw letters and numbers, making sure they are drawn in reverse (so they will come out right on fabric) Cut out the letters, peel the paper off the back, place them on the shirt in the proper order and dry iron them down.

If you are wanting to do actual photographs, the previous poster had the right idea, about transferring from your computer. There is a special fabric for running through the printer for this technique. It is sold in sheets in most fabric and craft stores. Then you apply it to the shirt with a hot dry iron to "bleed" the pix onto the shirt.

A more professional way to do the pix involves making your own "printer fabric" using a product called Bubble Jet Set. Most fabric artists who transfer photos to fabric do it with the Bubble Jet Set. You can find more info on this product by googling Bubble Jet Set and hit their web site. When doing it this way, you are not imprinting the pix, but creating a pix on fabric that can be applied to the shirt, etc.

Hope this helps.
