My boyfriend and I are going to a vegan potluck tonight and I have no idea what we should bring. What do you think would be a hit?

I am a vegitarian and I absolutely hate getting together with other family members(especially my aunt) because they always give me a hard time about it. When we are about to eat, they constantly repeat " so, how much roast beef are you eating tonight?" and it's not so bad the first couple of times, but after awhile I just want to curl up and dissappear. I'm having dinner with them next Sunday. Does anyone have any way to either get out of going or deal with their rude comments?
(P.S. I'm 13, so I can't exactly decide if my family goes or not)

I'm not asking this to start an abortion debate (though I'm sure it will come out). I am just curious what the rational is that says its not alright to eat eggs, but its okay to have an abortion. Please be respectful and remember I am not attacking any group I am just generally curious. Thanks!

I recently bought a Jack La Lanne power juicer, and have misplaced the booklet that came with it.

The store that I bought it from said they cannot help me. I have researched online to see if the manufacturer will send me one. Sure, it's free, but with an $8 postage fee. GMAB

Anyone with a JLL Power Juicer who can help me out? What I need is to see for sure how to take it apart to clean it.

Oh, and recipes would be great, too! :)

I was thinking about trying soy mik instaed of my normal skim milk next time I go to the grocery store. Is soy mil a lot higher in calories than skim milk? If so, what are the best "light" versions of soymilk that you have found? Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks.
