Quorn is a manufacturer of meat substitute products. The products are made from Fungi (mushrooms) and not soy or gluten.

I have heard that they are delicious. However, I have never had them myself because they are not vegan. They contain milk and eggs.

Don't eat them if you are allergic to mushrooms.

Give Rich the ten points as he's the first to *really* get it right! Irishmom and David gave correct info also. Keep in mind that the egg content of quorn is very high compared to other products! I saw an independent analysis that showed that the chicken products have as much egg white as mycoprotein (almost 40%).

Quorn is a type of meatless meat product. I JUST NOW got finshed eating two garlic and parmesan "chicken" cutlets - love them!

Although, I must tell you...there have been reports that this particular brand of "veggie meat product" has been known to cause allergic reactions in "sensitive" individuals (probably people allergic to mushrooms and other fungi, because that is the basis of this product). There is even reportedly a movement to have them removed from stores - I get mine at Whole Foods). I have never had any reaction to them.

If you are prone to food sensitivities or allergies, I would avoid them to be safe. If not -- enjoy!

quorn is an artificial meat substitute grown from GMO fungus and soy proteins. In my experience it readily copies chicken nuggets (but I find those ghastly) children seem to enjoy it

I believe it has eggs in it so will not be suitable for vegans. I'm not 100% sure if it has eggs or not.

Edit: It DOES have eggs in it.
