You should probably consult your Dr. before feeding it to a baby.

Any pure juice is too strong for a baby. Always water it down. Carrot, like banana, is a double sugar. So baby will be wired for quite some time. Best to stick with apple and orange.

I believe I recall a news item some time back about a chap who O'D'd on carrot juice as a fad. I think it contains a substance called carotin (?) that even turned his skin orange. This was an extreme case, but I recall he was very unwell. I fed my infants on pureed veg etc but these were relatively simple things like avocado and tomato and they thrived. I'd advise you note the nurse's answer. Hope this helps.

I wouldnt give pure carrot juice to a baby. Its too strong and can make their stomach upset. i would recommend giving them other juices.....but remember if you do give them carrot juice, dont give them too much or they will turn orange ;-)
