I have been trying to cut down on my meat intake lately because for some reason I just can't stand eating it anymore. I'm only 15 and my parents both eat meat in every meal, how can I tell them to never make me meat again? Also what's some good meals I can eat to replace the food I eat (I eat basically what every other teen male in America does, junk food, burgers, ect..)?

What do you usually eat? Are you doing it for health or because you love animals?

I heard it has to rot in your stomach before it can be digested. That can't be good at all. Should I stop eating meat?

I just started college this year and am having a hard time with the food choices (they lie when they say there are vegetarian options). We have to have a meal plan and I am getting really sick of pizza and salad. Are there any ways to get more interesting food that won't cost a lot? There is a health food store down the road, but they are pretty expensive.

Me and my dad are both vegetarian(regular vegetarian, not vegan) and we rarely can find meals that we both like. Any good recipes we could use?

Is pop vegan? What about flour that one would buy from a grocery store? What are some common foods that one would think are vegan but really aren't? How long does it take for being vegan to come more naturally (that is, not have the urge to eat meat/eggs/milk/cheese/refined sugar/alcohol)? How much more by percentage does vegan food cost than regular food? If you have tips/advice that you think every new vegan should know, what are they? Thank you very much.

My family doesn't support nor want me to be a vegetarian. It's not that they don't give me choices to do things like that, but they think it is too complicated.
I was a vegetarian before (about a year or two ago) but I didn't really know why I was. It was more of a fad than anything the, but my family got tired of it then.
Now I know why I want to be a vegetarian and it literally makes me sick thinking of eating meat. How can I, not convert, but show my family why I want to be a vegetarian and to have them support me in it?

Non-vegs always ask me why I am a vegetarian (in a mocking tone) and say that it is stupid and there is no way to help the animals. They don't ever give me a chance to even answer. Why do people do this and what is a good answer to tell people (other than for the animals.)
