Great choice! I'm a vegetarian as well. According to my doctor, it's not protein you should be worried about, as long as you drink milk, eat cheese, ice cream, any dairy products really. What you should be worried about is .... iron. Iron is only found in dark green vegetables and lemons. A great tip to get enough iron is to take a multivitamin everyday with 100% iron, then you don't even have to worry about it! You can eat pizza, salads, noodles, sandwiches, and other foods depending on what level vegetarian you are. Good luck!

Yes. You can still get protein when you're a vegetarian. The problems with protein start when you decide to become a vegan, which you're not planning.
Foods that have protein and are good for vegetarian diets are:
~Beans
~Milk
~Yogurt
~Cheese
~Tofu
~Lentils
And this site might help as well:

Good luck! :)

good for you!
im a vegetarian myself and i just wanna tell you that the first year you're a vegetarian, you're gunna have a hard time looking at meat and saying no
but after that its really easy
10 billion animals are killed every year JUST for meat-eating
theres also vivisection and everything...
so you're making a great choice
protein bars are really good... the average american is getting way more protein than they need...
look up some good veg. recipes on google... you'll be surprised of what you could find

Congratulations!
Protein-
tofu
soy
fake meats
peanut butter
nuts
Iron-
leafy green vegetables
brocoli
legumes
hint~drinking or eating something citrisy will help you absorb more iron (grapefruit, orange, lemon...)
I suggest you get vitamin water. It tastes great and has tons of vitamins in it. Also, at Bath and Body Works their product aren't tested on animals.

Im a vegertarian and to get my protein i eat a lot of tofu and bean dishes and nuts as well. There are so many ways you can prepare tofu that its not easy to get sick of. Also there are soo many fake meat products like tofu hotdogs and veggie burgers. I like the company Quorn. they make delicious fake chicken nuggets. here is their website if you wanna check them out...

Also Amy's makes some really good vegetarian meals that are easy to prepare if you aren't into cooking

Eat Tofu with rice and steamed veggies, But first of all I would like to suggest studying about being vegetarian. You can't just one day say I want to give up eating meat. Your body has to transition slowly.

Do your homework
Vegetarian menus are difficult to maintain
even the veggie platters in restaurants usually have stuff like butter or bacon etc already there
