Oatmeal, cereal with soy milk, fruit, scrambled tofu, granola bars, muffins, leftover pizza, or any leftovers for that matter, toast and juice, waffles with preserves, biscuits and vegetarian gravy, grains (like millet or amaranth) with cinnamon and maple syrup, fruit smoothie, hash browns, faux sausage or bacon, PB&J, breakfast veggie wraps. Well, thats what I eat anyway. And its great!

Wow! The list is endless.
* Porridge is great either with milk or without if you are vegan.
* Scrambled egg on toast or a fried egg sandwich.
* Toast and jam or toast and honey.
* A fancy croissant and large glass of juice from the deli.
* A full veggie breakfast would include; baked beans, egg (scrambled poached or fried) fried mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, a potato cake or hash browns, a veggie sausage or veggie bacon and some jam and toast.
Fruit

for sandwiches you can get bored of Cheddar and pickle real quick so I always try and buy a different type of cheese each week. Brie and cranberry or Gorgonzola and grape is fab.
hummus (chickpeas, tahini, and yoghurt) is great in sandwiches.
Mar-mite and cheese
Red kidney bean pate
Tartex (a vegetable yeast pate)
Egg mayonnaise
Avocado
Falafel and salad

Always try and use lots of salad and relishes to make your sarnies interesting and try not to use stuff that makes the bread soggier. I leave out tomatoes til I get to work and slice them and put them in just before I eat the sandwich.

Also why not try taking soup and bread to work especially when it's cold outside

PS. eating too much meat is really unhealthy and not very natural. You should be eating meat only once or twice a week if that. We were originally hunter gatherers and we didn't manage to catch all that much meat. Our ancestors would be lucky to catch an animal every week. Mostly veggie is how our bodies were designed so going vegetarian is probably one of the healthiest things you can do.

It's "vegetarians".

A veggie sandwich is kind of self-explanatory--it's a sandwich with veggies on it.

And for breakfast vegetarians can eat anything besides stuff like bacon. Being a vegetarian is NOT hard. All you have to do is cut out meat, and that's it. Don't tell me you ate bacon and sausage every morning before you went vegetarian. That's quite the exaggeration. Cereal contains no meat, neither do eggs, or pancakes, waffles, etc. If you were vegan then you'd have more limited choices. However even then you can have pretty much anything because you can make pancakes and waffles with egg replacers (like cornstarch and water) and soymilk and they taste the same. And most cereals, even the ones that are horrible for you like Reese Puffs, are vegan, so you just have some soymilk and you're set.

A veggie sandwich is basically a salad between two slices of bread. Of course you could add some meat substitutes to it if you like.

Breakfast:

There are vegetarian non-meat equivalents to just about anything you might eat for breakfast now.

Soy bacon
Soy sausage
Scrambled tofu
Soy milk
Soy cheese

Then there is always:

Oatmeal
Cereal
Cream of wheat

And don't forget:

Fruit

Vegetarians can eat the same as everyone else for breakfast but should include fresh fruit and/or nuts. There should be no animal products in most cereals found on the supermarket shelf. A Veggie sandwich is a salad sandwich.

Well I like to have some oatmeal for breakfast. It takes about 3 minutes to make and you can add any spices to it you like. I like to add some pumkin spice to it. It is also really healthy.

But you could really eat anything. Left overs are great. So is fruit or yogurt, if you are a lacto vegetarian

A veggie sandwich....well it is a sandwich made with veggies. Or it could be like a veggie burger. Which is a burger made with non meat products.

Hope this helps

I usually start my day with wheat- and gluten-free granola mixed with soy milk and natural (unsweetened) yogurt.

For a fancier breakfast, you can do a tofu scramble. Fry some garlic in olive oil and mix in some crumbled firm tofu. Stir in some sundried tomatoes. In a bowl, scramble one egg and add some fresh herbs to the mixture. Pour that on top of the tofu in the frying pan and mix it up until the egg covers everything and it's all cooked. Then, add some lemon juice and chopped spinach leaves, stirring until the spinach wilts. Put the mixture on a plate and top with feta cheese. Yummmmm!

you could make blueberry muffins, have oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, cereal, eggs, the list is endless!

Veggie sandwich=yummy bread (I prefer whole wheat), fresh vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, whatever vegetables tickle your fancy, cheese, Oh, and a little bit of mayo is good on it. *you could even go as far as buying Boca Burgers or Morningstar Burgers if you want to add that to your veggie sandwich*

my fave snack = pita bread and hummus...very simple and good

Enjoy!
