I just got a deep fryer for Christmas. I've never used one before but it seems easy enough. I am trying to think of some good things to fry in it. Obviously there are the normal things like chicken, fries etc but does anything have any really yummy ideas for things I can fry?

My favorite food is Italian food, but I rather try something new. I was wondering what was a good French dinner I can make and prepare for tonight. Nothing like French Fries please or bagel or quiche. Something that's real good.

We eat really well for about 125.00 dollars a week not including the 4 gals of milk every 2 days but I would like some new foods. I do not eat anything with cooked tomatoe sauce. I am sick of our stand bys of Fettachini alfredo and veg lasagna ham and augrauten pots. Beef is so expensive. I need new recipies PLEASE

we are doing a party for 30 and will buy a large can from gfs but I know it is normally very bland. How do I make it taste closer to my homemade stuff? Or is there a large quantity inexpensive method you prefer..cost is a factor. thanks!

Does anyone out there have a unique twist on a common food? For example, I'm thinking of trying a grilled peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I just thought it would be different lol...

What are some other twists you have tried on common foods?

I made some fudge, I always use the fantasy fudge recipe on back of marshmellow cream jar, it has always turned out perfect before. This time, the fudge has a chocolate oil leaking out all over top of fudge and around side edges, and the sugar stayed grainy, the fudge is crunchy like there is sand mixed in, what did I do so I won't do it again??

I made gingerbread cookies with the traditional powered sugar/milk icing, but it tasted horrible. Too sweet and it had a funny taste. Is there a better frosting I can use. The cookies themselves are really yummy....but the icing I use kills them. Thanks!

What should I serve with my knish (bread puffs with potato inside)?

I'm not Jewish but I want to know what would go well with it. I have a beef roast; should I try to cook it? Any good recipes? Should I make rice...or is that too much carbs?

Thanks a ton from a Muslim =D

I’m hosting New Year’s Eve Dinner at my house for 8 people, including me. I want to make roast beef, but I’m unsure of a good recipe to follow. I don’t want to stress over dinner, I’d rather enjoy the company of my guests, so….

Can anyone suggest a good recipe that they’ve tried and is practically foolproof? Also what cut of beef you used would be great too.

I have 8+ years of Taste of Home, Country Woman and other magazines that all have recipes. I love cooking magazines, but I don't know what to do with them. I can't seem to bear throwing them out even tho I know the chances of me looking at them again are basically nill. Each magazine has too many recipes to cut them out and then it would just be a pile of recipes. What have others done with their old magazines?
