I bought some from my local farmers market because it looked good, but I have never made it before! The man selling it said it works sort of like pasta - so I can put marinara on it - but does anyone know any good recipes to serve with it or on it or in it?

I have some fresh onion, mushroom, bell pepper, green onion, and tomatoes - would this go with it? Like in it?

Help!

They looked like plain old scrambled, but slightly dry and a delectable almost peppery flavor without being hot or having black pepper added. Someone said to try pepperoncini, but I must've tried wrong, cause they didn't taste right. She grew up in Minnesota in the 1890's if that helps. Thank you so much.

cornbread. As I remember it, her cornbread used only three items, corn meal, buttermilk, and baking powder or soda. That is all, as I remember it. The cooked bread was fairly flat. It did not rise much. Might have been only about an inch and a quarter high. I used to be able to make it, but I have forgotten how. Oh, yes, she might have used a little salt. The crust was somewhat hard. The cornbread did not fall apart. It was somewhat firm. Can any of you help me learn to recapture my mother's cornbread?

I have been trying to frigure out what cuts of meat cook better using different methods. Generally anything with 'roast' in the title would be put in the crock pot on low all day. Not sure if this would produce the best results.

I made a key lime pie today, it had a nice flavor but the filling was too airy. While airy can be good, I was going for a denser creamier texture. I used 3 jumbo egg yolks at room temperature beaten for about 5 minutes in an upright mixer. To that I added one 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk which mixed for about 4 minutes and then 2/3 of a cup of fresh squeezed lime juice and zest, mixed just enough to totally incorporate (less than 30 seconds). What can I do to make my pie thicker, more egg yolks? cream cheese? Thank you :-)
