I was looking at Scottish recipes, ran upon one called Clapshot. One of the Ingredients was one swede, here in the States swede refers to someone from Sweden. In another recipe one of the ingredients was castor sugar. Is this a brand name or a different kind of sugar we are used to here (sugar cane, sugar beets) etc.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to find a good, and easy chicken reciped that we can bake? I have family coming over tomorrow night, but we want to find something that we can get all together and prepared, cover it in a casserole dish in the fridge, and then after we get home from work tomorrow we can put it in the oven? Anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks!!!

I love soup and live in upstate NY. It's getting to be that time of year again and am looking for a tried and true recipe for something unique. I make all types of soup and am looking for something that is interesting and that my family would like. I only want recipes that you have tried.

I'll be starting my last year of grad school in a few weeks and this year will be more broke than ever since I won't be working. I have clinicals up to 3 days a week and class 2 days a week, so my husband may be cooking more often. He's pretty good as long as he has very specific directions. I'm looking for recpies without ground beef and Ramen! He really likes casseroles and one-pot dishes, so if you have any ideas for those, please include them. Meatless meals are a plus. Thanks!
