Crock Roast And Veggies
Ingredients
Boneless roast (about 3 to 4 pounds)
5 potatoes (peeled and quartered)
6 or 7 carrots (peeled and sliced)
1 sm. onion
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Season-All
2 cans golden mushroom soup
1 c. water
Preparation
Put all ingredients in Crock Pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Yes you can do this just make sure you put it an a larger roaster and add plenty of water bake at 200 and it should be fine. Crock pots can also burn like I said a lrger roaster and plenty of water 200 degrees not any higher. I have worked in a smoke house and wee did this with many meats but wit a touch of vinegar to break down the muscle fiber better.

That seems like a long time to cook a roast even on low heat.
I would put it in the crock pot on low. Add a little beef broth and some veggies and you'll be good.

No, I would not consider that safe. If you wish to have something cooking throughout the day, invest in a crock pot slow cooker. Those are safe.

I would put it in a crock pot with all your veggies. This way you can ensure that is cooked slowly and will be very tender when it is done.

Put it in a 275F oven while away. Cover tightly and have some liquid in there. You won't scorch it, it should be fine.
