I would like a simple, quick recipe for a peanut satay sauce. Ideally it would use ingredients which are likely to be found in most homes. Also, not too nippy but plenty of taste.

I was looking for a quick and easy recipe for frosting, and I found quite a few that include nothing but pudding. But I need to ask, isn't pudding supposed to be served cold? If I put my pudding "frosting" on the cake, will it be okay if it's not eaten right away?
