I threw out the box to my aunt jemima pancake recipe and only saved the mix in a container (to keep fresh), and forgot to mark down how much water, or oil, etc. is needed to make the pancakes. If you have a box with the measurements, i would appreciate it!!! thanks in advance

I'm returning to work full-time and I'm not the best cook, I tend to burn everything. I'm looking for suggestions on healthy meals that are easy to prepare and have ready for supper when I get home for my daughter (age 1) and me. Receipes would also be appreciated. Anything for a slow cooker, I have one but don't use it.

If I purchase unfrozen beef or chicken from a store and put it straight in the refridgerator when I get home, how long can it stay there before I must cook it?

I know it is supposed to simmer for 20 minutes to remove the "beany" flavor, but what if it tastes fine after only 5 minutes?
Also- anyone have any creative ideas for okara?

And, if anyone is reading this, wondering how to make soy milk, search the web, and do it. It is easy, good and super cheap!

I was told literally that you'll find things like the eyelids and hooves of the cow, occasionally a rat or pigeon will find their way into there, even the occasional finger (if the rest got in without being detected, you got to think the finger could too)? I think I'm making myself sick again.
