I am baking Amaretti cookies tomorrow and the recipe calls for caster sugar. I've been all over and can't find it. What do I do? I heard caster sugar is just very fine sugar, but not confectioners sugar. Can i just grind regular granulated sugar in the food processor??

Breakfast: oatmeal w/ raspberries
Snack:Blueberries
Lunch:Brown rice and broccolli w/ hummus
Snack:Baby carrots w/a tablespoon peanut butter and homemade hot chocolate w/ organic unsweetened cocoa powder
Dinner:brown rice and cauliflower

I did some reading on this and I realize that it ages it really quickly. But is that really such a bad thing? Doesn't that just cut the amount of time I have to wait? Also, I don't drink a lot of wine, so will I even be able to tell the difference? The reason I ask is because I have a wine rack in my kitchen that isn't temp controlled and the necks of the bottles are exposed to the light. For a casual wine drinker is it ok for them to sit for a year or so in my makeshift wine rack.

and i felt really dizzy/sick right after... and now like almost 2 hours later i am still feelin pretty queezy. is this normal? i usually "puff puff pass" with my friends but this time i had almost a whole one and it wasn't a light. will this keep happening? and when will i feel better?

If you leave yogurt that you buy in a refrigerated section out on a counter for a few hours or a day or whatever, do the bacteria cultures in it grow? Or do they die?

Is it healthy for them to be more cultivated? Or does it become dangerous? And after how long does it become dangerous?

I am curious BECAUSE, abroad in Italy, I have seen yogurt go unrefrigerated.... and surely, if lots of people are eating it, they can't be dying from sickness??

I really only want to eat the yellow part raw so I can scoop it with toast and improve my singing voice but... is it bad? I heard that it can cause salmonella or something...
