I was searching cyberspace for a gingerbread cookie recipe.
Every site I hit, had an advertisement for some sort of weight loss product?
Is this supposed to encourage me to make GingerBread cookies.
Do people want to be reminded about their weight, while searching for Ginger Bread recipes?

Would this type of advertising make you more or less likely to try out cookie recipes?

My carrot cake turns moldy quickly after it's out of the oven. It's not covered entirely in mold, but has moldy spots. I use organic carrots; free-range chicken eggs; China-Tunghing-Cassia Cinnamon; baking soda; flour; sugar; olive oil; salt; buttermilk and vanilla. None of the ingredients are expired. Is the cake having a strange chemical reaction? Should I add/subtract anything? Thanks for your help.

I need exact measurements not just "a little" or "a few" or "a dash".
And just with eggs, milk, cinnamon, and bread.
And it's just for me.

He names them and keeps them at his yard where his children play with them, then they go to the abtour where they are slaughtered and then he makes a range of recipes with the meat.

I personally think that this behaviour is barbaric and shows an act of inhumanity. I have no problem with breading animals for food if that is what you must do getting to know them as friends, hand raising them, getting them to trust then eating them is just incredible. His children play with them get to know their personalities and then eat them. Barbaric. Whats you oppinion?

Also if you wish to report me to Yahoo please do but I have broken no guidelines, I have simply asked what people think in a vegetarian/vegan forum. I have not posted this question in cooking and I am asking people what they think. Am I the only one who thinks this way. I am not peddling PETA but I think that hand raising baby animals and letting them live with the family and then eating them is inhumane. Was lambs now pigs.

I never cook so I don't know what I'm doing much. I took out a pound of ground chicken meat and let it run under hot water a couple of times and just left it in the sink for it to defrost. After about 3 hours it was still frozen solid in the middle so I took it out its original package put it on a plate and wrapped it up and thawed it in the microwave for about 2 minutes and it was still frozen in the middle. I got tired of it so I just wrapped it up with plastic wrap and put it back in the fridge. Is this safe?

OK I shared two bottles of chardonnay with another girl yesterday and had a pint of beer, I said some silly things, I threw up at night and I felt like crap, I paid the price. I wont be drinking like that for at least another year, I hardly EVER drink because it usually hurts my stomach too much and because I have a toddler to look after. Yesterday was good, my girl was being babysat, I had transport to and from the venue and all the drinks and food was free! I was asking for hangover cures on yahoo answers and some people were acting like I was some kind of alcoholic idiot telling me not to drink and how I could kill someone and all this crap. What is with that?? Why is drinking so unacceptable even when its a once a year occurence?
