Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi (CopyKat Recipe)

1 C. White Wine
1/2 C. unsalted Butter (do not use Margarine)
3 tsp. minced Garlic
1 lb. Shrimp, peeled and deveined

Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and de-vein shrimp, leaving tails intact. Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.

Combine butter, wine, and garlic. Mix ingredients together. Put the mixture into a casserole dish with the shrimp. Bake at 350 F. for 6 to 7 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp. The shrimp is done when it has turned pink. (The scampi may be served over angel hair pasta or another thin spaghetti.)

You may want to double or triple the recipe to accomodate the number of guests there will be at the party.

Melt some butter in a frying pan, put some minced garlic in it dump the shrimp in the pan and stir it up until hot.. You can put in a little chopped parsley./ I'd use about 1/4 lb of butter to 1 - 1 1/2 lbs shrimp, garlic to taste.. Think I'll go make some. Sounds good. Good Luck and have fun
Merry Christmas.

Thaw by dunking in hot water seasoned w/ salt and crab boil. Once thawed (maybe 1 minute later or less), remove and drain.

Melt a jar of garlic bread spread (found on spice aisle, red lid by McCormick) and pour over shrimp. Add some chopped parsley for color. Voila. You're done.
