can I put those in a crock pot with some other things a make a meal? What would I put in it? I'm limited, I have rice or potatoes and not much else in my house right now so a receipe with the least amount of ingredients would work best for me. If you dont think it would be good just let me know. Thanks.

My mom brought this beverage for Thanksgiving. How much less fattening/caloric can water get?

I always had a problem since I was little of not getting thirsty. I've always been that way and I cannot stand drinking water. I tried to drink it on a schedule but I just forget to drink or don't want to - even if it's sitting right in front of me. I'll go a day or two with only drinking maybe half a cup or so a day - I'll drink hot tea in the morning and I only drink pop occasionally but I don't like sugar that much so I can't drink it a lot or juice either. I also won't drink anything with artificial sweetners so I won't drink flavored water either. I just don't know why I never get thirsty!

Is anyone else like this or what can I do for myself?

Hello. I'm a big Disney fan and the reason I say this is because their work really motivates and inspires me a lot.. in fact it's why I chose my trade. So, I finally saw Ratatouille the other day and I loved it. I've never cooked before, but after seeing the movie it looks like it would be fun (and useful) to do.

I'm 23 and still live at home for the moment, but I'd like to start cooking maybe just once a week at first. Even though I've never cooked before and I'm sure my first dish won't be great, I don't really care how it comes out (though I'm sure others would).

I tried looking for the "Gusteau's" cookbook that was used in the movie, but so far it's not a real-world object. I'd like to make French dishes, something that looks and tastes good, and as a bonus something that is also moderately healthy.

I make sandwiches (that really suck) at work because I don't eat fast food, and I'd like to also replace that once I start cooking.

Thanks for your time.

I can't imagine filling your stomach with a gallon of water and your body absorbing ALL of that. It seems to me that your body needs a constant supply. But I'm trying to gauge how much water should I be doing at one time. Right now I am starting with 8oz every hour. But I'm wondering should it be 12, 16, 18, or 20.

Can you help me out?

I want to get my husband a meat grinder for Christmas. He is a big deer hunter, with a big deer hunting family. He would like to have a grinder so he can process the family's meat. I have no idea what to get!! I have seen a few in Bass Pro shop, but I've never been satisfied with their "cooking" products. What is a good brand for meat grinders? Any online stores would be great.

I like to cook filet mignon at home. I prefer to pan sear it in butter and it comes out really good but I am at a loss as to how to tell if it is cooked the way I want (ie medium rare, medium, medium well). It either comes out too raw, or too done.
Any tips? Any websites with info on how to tell?

I am going on a marathon cookie making extravaganza for the holidays to hand out to all my friends. I was thinking of making several kinds of cookie dough ahead of time, splitting the batches and freezing them. I'll use half the dough in a few days and half closer to christmas for the actual day.
Is this a good idea, or will the dough taste like it's been frozen? Any tips on wrapping?

I dont like raisins so I'm thinking of making oatmeal craisin (dried cranberries) with slivered almond cookies. I want a cookie that is like trail mix. Does this sound good? Should I add yogurt chips as well?

(I asked this question before but nobody answered if it sounded good)

I would really like to bake some chicken wings for dinner but I do not know of a good glazing sauce for after they are done. It can't be hot because my kids won't eat them. Any one know of a good sauce I can buy or make to give a good coat that is not spicy? Something outside the bbq sauce 'box'.

Hello, Yahoo. How are you people doing on this fine day ?
Oh man, had a lot to eat on Thursday. Turkey, stuffing,
rice and gravy, macaroni with cheese, cornbread, collard
greens, sweet potato pie, candied yams, cranberry sauce,
pecan pie, carrot cake, and brown sugared chewies.
Along with potato salad, and a slice of pound cake.
OK. Not bad. Christmas is coming up..... Round 2 .
So what did you have for dinner on Thanksgiving ?
Make me hungry the most and you win. Let's roll. >>>>
