I am making nuggets tonight by dipping chicken pieces in butter, then rolling them in my breading mix, then cooking them in the oven.

Would it make any difference if I made the nuggets before hand without baking them and place them in the fridge for a few hours before baking them?

I just want to make sure they still come out crisp outside and tender inside.

Thanks!

What things are the best thing to eat (and avoid) before an exam?

To have much concentration (and thinking) power and energy at the exam.

The exam will be in 9 to 10 hours after the next night. The exam will be rather technical and will take 3 full hours (i will nead every minute of it).

I only have these things (some things might be useless because lack of time to cook it) and i will hardly have time to purchase other things (maybe at the gas station but that's very expensive):

-banana (3 or 4)
-beans
-bread
-caramel candy
-chewing gums (mint taste)
-cheese
-cherry tomato's (20)
-cornflakes with dried red fruit
-cranberry
-custard
-dark chocolate (72% cacao)
-eggs
-fruit sirop (it says 'energy' on the label)
-mayo
-meat (for sandwiches)
-milk
-orange juice
-pasta
-peanuts
-porridge
-potato powder
-rice
-soup
-sweet chili sauce
-wallnuts

And are there things i have to AVOID? Like, i heard that bread makes sleepy.

Thx if you can answer seriousl

I have no shortening in the house and no oil of any kind. My pie crust recipe calls for flour, sugar, salt, butter, shortening and cold water. Can I leave out the shortening and proceed, or does the chemistry of the crust not allow that?

I may be making a cake for my fiance tonight. I'm making a thick chocolate cake and hoping to be able to use a cake cutting tool (the long wire or even a bread knife)

Should it be cut when it's cool or warm..

Whats your opinions?

I'm also not making the cake regular, Im omitting the eggs and oil and using diet cola (yes this is possible..very popular amongst weight watchers :) )

My husband will be home for Christmas. He is in the army. He is a meat and meat kinda guy while I am a veggies kinda gal. He doesnt really eat veggies unless they are in stirfry or veggie soup. I know how to make those.. And I dont want more recipes on that please. Theres only one recipe to stirfry and veggie soup he will eat anyways. So is there anything that I can cook that him and his army friends will love. And If its just for a small ( me and him) meal I can only cook enough for two.. I need to make sure it can go from 2-10 ppl.. But only what I want to cook. And also not have alot of veggie taste.. But enough for me to be happy. I can eat meat I do like it. But I love veggies... Anyone who has some good recipes. And I have looked at sites. I just want some recipes from ppl who have tried them not a site please. Thanks.
