Lol My family is Italian and no one knew what I was asking for when I pronounced it that way. It wasn't until I was an adult I found out the proper spelling for capicola and procuitto (pru-zhute.)
It's capicola, similar to procuitto but hotter. Italians often leave the last vowel off a word when speaking, and some of the consonants have a softer sound, so it would sound like cabbah kol, or gabba goul.
This from Wikipedia: Capicola is sometimes pronounced
"gab-buh-GOOL" (often spelled "gabba goul" to signify this pronunciation in dialog) by Italian-Americans in the US East Coast metropolitan areas.

Do you remember that 70's TV monster/alien 'Gabah'?
Gool - as you know - means ghost.
So, I'm suspecting that Gabah's Gool means that Gabah has returned from the dead after being a TV soapie flop, and has found his way onto the Sopranos.
TV these days is just doing downhill all the time...

Like the others said, capricola(sp).
It's REALLY tasty, but VERY spicy. But I love it. A few slices of that, a slice of sharp cheddar, on whole wheat.
Yum.
