So what are some must haves at your favorite coffee house/hangout... specific drinks, entertainment, etc. What makes you an avid goer to that establishment.

I'm thinking of opening my own spot and I need some inspiration....I don't want to be strictly a coffee shop more of a chill hangout with smoothies, maybe some hookah.

Thanks in advance
-Aqua

What do you think of the name Magpie's Hideout?

Im hosting a party for a group of friends at the end of the month. Could be as little as 12 people, could be as many as 30 depending on how many rsvp. We live in a 1000 sq ft house, with an average sized backyard, small patio. We are thinking of removing all clutter, putting heaters and a fire pit outside, keeping an open flow as much as we can and serving food buffet style. Any other tips for hosting a nice party? Its going to be super casual and around Christmas time.

I want truly human grade (as in USDA certified, or certifieable) cat food, but I don't want to have to prepare food at home for my kitty. So far, she likes By Nature Organics and Innova Evo. She doesn't like Wellness, Newman's Own, or Prairie (I know! A very very picky kitty!). Also, I've considered trying to work more vegetarian options into her diet (I'm a vegetarian and veganish and feel bad about contributing to slaughterhouses), but I'm worried about urinary infections. I've read those can be a problem w/ vegetarian cats.

So i guess this is really two questions:

1) What's the best meat-based prepared cat food?
2) Anyone out there had luck w/ a vegetarian diet? If so, were there problems and how did their health compare? What were you feeding them before, and so on?
3) Which is healthier overall: a very premium meat-based diet or a vegetarian diet. I know that a vegetarian one is superior to the commerical crap--the friskies and so on--but how does it measure up to a good diet?

Saw a movie (Factotum) where a guy had a beer with an egg yolk in it, waited until it rose to the top, and then drank it, yolk and all.

Recently something happened to my health that prevented me from eating cheese related items, like pizza. Is it possible to order a pizza with no cheese, and if so which major pizza chain can do this? I know most of the small businesses around my parts can do it but what about the bigger chains like pizza hut and dominoes?
